Can I Still Play Poker at Paradise Poker?

With the new gambling legislation, many United States poker players are wondering “Can I still play at paradise poker in the United States?“  The answer, I’m afraid, is NO.  Effective November 13th, 2006 Paradise Poker is cancelling all US real money accounts.  Players from all states except the following will be able to play until then.  All players from these states will have their account closed immediately (October 12th, 2006): Utah, Hawaii, Michigan, Indiana, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Illinois, Louisiana, and South Dakota.  Also, they were on our list of US Poker Rooms, that is to say, US friendly poker sites.  They have consequentially been removed.

Paradise Poker, was along with Bodogpoker, Absolute Poker, and a few others, one of the few sites that have made official statements regarding US Players and they did not believe the new law applies to poker games, only game of chance.  However, this seems to have changed.  Stay with us as we update our site daily with the freshest information available on the US Poker Legislation.
