Bodog Mini-SOP Results - Event #2 NL Hold’em

BodogPoker’s Mini-SOP, a series of Hold’em tournaments hosted to mimic that of the 2008 World Series of Poker, but with buy-ins at 1/100th of the original series, continued on May 31st with Event #2, a $15 No Limit Hold’em tournament. While the 2008 WSOP version saw record breaking entries, Bodog Poker also revealed a full crowd of participants.

Bodog Poker’s Mini-SOP Event #2 drew 260 players, producing a total prize pool of $3,900. The 1st place prize of $1,072.50 would eventually go to “ryder_back”, a seasoned veteran of Bodog Poker who bested the entire field of the NL Hold’em tournament. In under a year, “ryder_back” has earned a multitude of cashes at Bodog Poker, this latest only adding to his successful run at the tables.

Bodog Poker’s Mini-SOP will continue with Hold’em tournaments mirroring the 2008 WSOP, offering buy-ins at 1/100th of their paralleled WSOP cost, with a full 25-event schedule running through July 3rd. As the Poker Mini-SOP reaches its finale, one additional tournament will take place on July 10th, awarding 2009 WSOP Main event prize packages.

It’s not too late to win a seat in the 2008 WSOP Main event via Poker satellite competitions, as the online poker room continues to award 6 $12k prize packages each week. The 2008 WSOP Main Event prize package awards the $10,000 buy-in, along with $2,000 to cover accommodations, travel and extra spending cash.
