Full Tilt Poker Million Dollar Cash Game Announced

Some of the highest stakes poker cash games are about to occur in London, and ring-leader Full Tilt will be right there in the center ring. You guessed it – FullTilt.com has announced the third season of the Million Dollar Cash Game, set to take place in just a few weeks.

FullTilt’s Million Dollar Cash Game brings together the finest pros in the poker industry, each laying down at least $100,000 of their own cold hard cash, to battle it out for the biggest cash game prize on the planet.

Last season’s Million Dollar Cash Game saw the esteemed likes of Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Jennifer Harman, Howard Lederer, Allen Cunningham and a host of other FullTilt.net Pros fighting it out at the tables. To keep things interesting, though, this year’s event will be slightly different.

Like last year, all participants must be exclusively invited to participate in the Full Tilt Poker Million Dollar Cash Game. The difference is, Full Tilt Poker will not only be inviting the most respected live tournament pros, but a few of their best online poker pros as well.

On the roster thus far are Full Tilt Pros Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Gus Hansen, Patrik Antonius, Allen Cunningham, Mike Matusow, Erick Lindgren, John Juanda, Andy Bloch, Eli Elezra, plus Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Tony G and poker brat Phil Hellmuth. The Legendary Doyle Brunson and impeccable skills of David Benyamine are also likely to attend.

Players who made a notable appearance at the FTP $1M Cash Games last year, but will not be returning for the third installment, include Howard Lederer, Jennifer Harman, Roland de Wolfe, Erik Seidel and Marc Goodwin.

The Full Tilt Poker Million Dollar Cash Game is schedule to take place September 17 and 18 in London. The entire event will be filmed, play by play, then broadcast in Sky Sports in January 2009.
