Nick “NFrost_10” Frost Wins PokerStars $1.5 Sunday Million

The $1,500,000 prize pool at PokerStar Sunday Million last weekend was another triumph for the world’s largest online poker room as 7,557 players took to the tables, boosting the GP to $1,511,400. Perhaps not the largest purse bulge in PokerStars history, but significant none the less as PokerStars recently increased the guaranteed prize pool from $1m to $1.5m.

Hours into the competition, the final table was finally set. One by one, players fell to the wayside as Nick “NFrost_10” Frost carved a path to victory, eventually ousting “es_dame” in heads-up to claim the 1st place prize of $185,902.

Since August of 2007, not a month has gone by – okay, one month (May 2008) – when Frost didn’t accomplish multiple cashes in online poker tournaments, spanning PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, UltimateBetPoker and Absolute Poker. His largest recorded cash up until now, however, was for $5,918.64 at PokerStars on back in August of 2007. Almost $6k is certainly an enjoyable profit, but nothing compared to his near $200k cash last Sunday.

Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Nick “NFrost_10” Frost started playing online poker a year ago when he turned 21. Now at the ripe young age of 22, with an incredible strong of online poker tournament cashes under his virtual belt, we can expect to see a lot more from this talented young man in the future.
