Record High Traffic At Full Tilt Poker

Full Tilt witnessed record high traffic numbers again this weekend, matching its previous record set back in November just as the tenth installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS-X) was set to begin.

The online poker room complemented its highest activity rate last Friday as an average of 9,704 players gathered at the various SNG, MTT and cash tables over a 24 hour period, according to a reliable online poker stat tracking source.

The start of the FTOPS-X series was certainly a valid reason for last month’s massive rate of traffic, but what it is about December that drawing in so many active players? Full Tilt Poker is already the second largest online poker room in the world, assisted by its unwavering commitment to US player acceptance.

Full Tilt Poker has a range of promotional offerings that encourage a multitude of new player sign-ups on a daily basis, including a 100% welcome bonus worth up to $600 on a player’s initial deposit. A plethora of Freerolls can be found, adding even more value to an already packed tournament schedule that awards more than $8 million each week in guarantee tournaments alone.

Just recently, FullTiltPoker had added a few new promotions to help members celebrate the Holidays, including a free Holiday $100k tournament scheduled for December 27th. Players need only enough Full Tilt Points to enter the tournament, with a direct buy-in of 2,000 points, or much less through satellites and qualifiers. Due to popular demand, Full Tilt Poker has also introduced an “Extra Holiday $100k”, set to play out December 28th.

Points collectors are getting their money’s worth this holiday season as well as the online poker room presents “3Xmas Happy Hour”. Throughout this upcoming promotion, players who participate in any regularly schedule ‘Happy Hour’ tables from December21st through January 1st will be awarded triple points. These points are highly valuable as they can be redeemed for exclusive merchandise from the Full Tilt Store, or used to enter special points tournaments (like the Holiday $100k mentioned above).

Whatever the reason may be, FullTilt.com and FullTilt.net are certainly doing something right to be attracting so many players to the online poker room these days. Full Tilt is nowhere near catching the number one spot, long held by PokerStars with an average of near 20,000 per 24-hour period, but the escalating numbers speak for themselves.
